Nomad Trading Management JLT aimed to seek the opportunities to offer Coal products delivered to our customers in the Middle East.

Our team worked closely with the clients to help them suffice the evolution of the coal market in the Middle East region and develop the required framework and tools to assist them in this regards.

The team conducted a thorough analysis across several areas, including:

  • the end-to-end coal value chain (from exploration and production, to marketing and trading)
  • all downstream applications (power, coal-to-liquids) to CBM-LNG and carbon markets
  • screening regional opportunities for the client’s entry into the coal business, identifying key target assets for the client based on key criteria

Finally, the team developed an entry strategy and implementation roadmap for the client to support a smooth and successful transition into this new market.
